Érdekes, hogy a benyomás szó, avagy impresszió átdolgozása miként nyerhet formát képletesen egy anyagon, teljesen függetlenedve a festmények konvencióitól. Like the yawning sparkle of a lighthouse, the reddish-brown ceramic has the effect of an "im- pression". It is interesting how the word impression, or the reworking of impression, can take shape figuratively on a material, completely independent of the conventions of painting. However, in the range of works of art, one can also find exact 'painterly' forms for the pictorial equivalents of true impressionism, and it is therefore particularly refreshing to look at these solutions.
